The currently planned activities start on April 10, 2009 with a incremental backup of /mixedtmp (/rdcprojects is backed up daily). During this time, /mixedtmp will be read-only. Other areas will remain accessible.</p>
<p>On the morning of April 13, 2009, the system will be brought down. The downtime will entail the loss of all data on /temporary filesystems. Please plan well ahead of the downtime to prevent any loss to your project-related data.</p>
<p>The downtime is expected to be completed by the afternoon of April 15, 2009. All areas except /mixedtmp will be accessible at this time.</p>
<p>/mixedtmp will be restored from backup after the system becomes available. Restoring this area might take up to 3 days. Once it is restored, it will become writeable again.</p>
