Census of Manufacturers (CMF) zero obs SAS data files are available on our compute nodes under /economic/cmf/microdata, the same location as on the Census RDC.

QWI Public use files have a variety of file structures. They differ in their geographic and industry classifiers, for which documentation was not previously available in a central location. We have compiled this information in a QWI cheatsheet (informal database schema).  [More »]

The website and repository servers will be down while we do maintenance. The most likely timeframe is Friday April 17, 2009, after 20:00 EST. Both sites (and the internal sandbox servers) will be offline for up to 30 minutes.

The system maintenance on NSF01 is not going so well. The system went down, and the two existing network connections have been upgraded (to Gigabit). However, (i) the planned 3Par maintenance has not been started, due to some apparent contractual issues (ii) the system updates for the OS were not received (iii) the additional ethernet cards were not received.
