The Third International Conference on Establishment Surveys
ICES-III will explore the current state of the art in survey methodology for establishment surveys. In 1993, ICES-I brought together more than 400 survey experts in the areas of businesses, farms, and institutions. ICES-II, in 2000, took a forward look at survey methods.

This conference will include:

• A selection of invited, topic-contributed, and contributed sessions
• Short courses on June 18
• A keynote speaker and reception on the evening of June 18
• Poster sessions and software demonstrations
• A closing dinner with a panel presentation on the evening of June 21

NSF01 is still not fully functional, and will remain offline on June 18, 2007.

In April 2007, the U.S. Census Bureau released a new version of the OnTheMap (http://lehd.did.census.gov/led/datatools/onthemap.html) application. The newer application also relied on a slightly different set of data files. These newer files are now available on the VirtualRDC. SGI should be working on the system. Maybe it will be up again by 1PM.

Users of VRDC3201 will be migrated to our new node VRDC3203 between June 15 and 17. The systems will be unavailable during that time frame. Thank you for your patience.

2007 Census Research Data Center Annual Conference

The Census Research Data Center Program welcomes proposals to present papers and posters based on current or recent projects carried out in a Research Data Center or using confidential Census Bureau data. Graduate students are encouraged to apply. The 2007 Research Data Center Conference will be held September 27, 2007 at Census Bureau Headquarters, Suitland, MD (a suburb of Washington DC) and is hosted by the Center for Economic Studies.
