The deadline for submitting a paper for the 2007 Annual Meeting of the Canadian Economic Association/Association canadienne d’économique is February 28. The Meeting will be held in Halifax, at Dalhousie University, June 1-3. Submissions must be done online at http://economics.ca/2007/ . You will also find there all the information on registration and on the conference in general.

Since 2002, the Cornell Restricted Access Data Center (CRADC) has provided access to the full set of Quarterly Workforce Indicators (QWI) on its compute servers. The cost associated with this access were funded through NSF grant SES-9978093. The grant ended in September 2005, but we have continued to provide access to existing and new users.
Since January 2007, CRADC is no longer approving new projects. The most current version of the data is being moved to a new server that is part of the VirtualRDC (see http://vrdc.ciser.cornell.edu for information on the VirtualRDC) for general download access, and new users will be directed to that site. According to CsVD, the system will be down tomorrow from 1-2pm to replace a part in the storage subsystem. Please let Kevin know (using the listserv) if this presents a problem for anyone, otherwise this is a go.
